Formation Ministry Basics
Formation ministries focus on being shaped and formed by God and becoming disciples of Jesus. There is a natural movement from membership to discipleship. Participation in the faith community encourages the inward journey towards discipleship. In Anglican/Episcopal churches, our formation is grounded in Scripture (the Word of God), Tradition (liturgy, history, and theology), and Reason (experience and reflection).

Childcare
The Nursery is staffed by a trained caregiver on Sundays from 10:30 to 12:45. Infants through 4-year olds are welcome.

Godly Play

The goal of Godly Play is to teach children the art of using religious language - parable, sacred story, silence, and liturgical action - to help them become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives. Godly Play is a method of Christian education and spiritual direction for children ages 4-12.

Welcome Table Bible Study

Around 25 men and women gather from 7:00-7:45am every Sunday to discuss the Gospel reading assigned for the day and how it relates to their lives. Parishioners facilitate the meetings held in Community Hall.  Newcomers are always welcome.

Journey Course

Journey Course is a six-session formation offering about the faith and living the faith at Epiphany. Journey Course is offered on six consecutive Sundays, 12:45-2:00, or six consecutive Wednesdays, 6:00-8:00. The topics that are explored are the following: community (compassion), mission (purpose), my journey (personal transformation) and our journey (communal transformation). Each session is free-standing, so participants may attend the sessions at different times of the year instead of all four in one season.
Ask your questions about Journey Course.
